Metal FabricationIdeal Machines Fabrication Facility is one of the largest in the Washington and the Pacific Northwest. Inside Ideal’s expansive fabrication shop, you will encounter the ability to fabricate individual weldments over 100,000 pounds in weight and up to 20 feet in vertical height. Even larger fabrication projects are assembled outside our shop with the use of mobile cranes. Ideals fabrication capabilities include a 6 axis robot welding (8 axis total) for welding repetitive parts weighing up to 3,000 lbs each. Ideal excels at fabrication welding. Ideal's fabrication welders are qualified to ASME Section IX and Ideal has over 70 qualified weld procedures on file including tungsten carbide hardfacing and TIG welding. Ideal's fabrication capability is supplemented by an array of ironworking equipment, including a 1/2" x 12' shear, press brake, and weld positioners up to 60 tons. We can accomplish any type of metal fabrication work with almost any material, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, and "exotics", such as Inconel and Nitronic 50. |
